Denmark beat Russia for bronze

Denmark came from behind to see off Russia 2-1 and clinch the bronze at ASUS ENC 2010.
A flying start from Russia on de_dust2 saw the CIS side win the first eight rounds of the match. Denmark still attempted to respond, but the strong Russian attack set the score at 13-2. In the second half, there was nothing Denmark could do as more sloppy play from them gave Russia a 16-2 victory.
On de_train, Russia once again got the hang of it in the first rounds, and even reached an early 9-1 lead, and it looked like the game would go their way. However, Denmark picked themselves up in the last rounds of the first half and recovered to make it 9-6.
In the second half, Denmark's defensive wall put Russia at bay, with the Scandinavian side conceding just one round as they won the map 16-10 and levelled the tie 1-1.
The final map, de_tuscan, began with Denmark playing really well on the defensive side, which earned them an 11-4 lead at the break. Inspired by Sergey "Fox" Stolyarov and Edward "edik" Ivanov, Russia would turn the score around, but Denmark claimed the last two rounds to win de_tuscan 16-14 and the tie 2-1.
