FiReLEAGUE Global Finals set to start in Barcelona

The $150,000 event is taking place in FC Barcelona's home stadium, Camp Nou.

The FiReLEAGUE Global Finals LAN kicks off shortly, the eight-team event pitching names from across South America against CIS and European representation in a single-elimination, best-of-three bracket. The winners will take home the lion's share of a $150,000 prize pool.

Spirit will be the highest ranked team in attendance fresh from their successful European RMR campaign, and they will be favourites to take home the trophy.

Imperial will be hoping to ride their momentum from the Americas RMR

Imperial headline the South American contingent, with that squad also coming off the back of securing qualification for the IEM Rio Major, but names like paiN, MIBR and 9z will be hoping to stage dramatic upset runs.

Viewers can catch all of the action on the FiReLEAGUE Twitch channel, with the opening game between paiN and MASONIC kicking off October 14 at 17:00 .
